    Time. Your saw is not effective with time. Taking 2 minutes to cut one board down is beyond ridiculous. Clamp it down or use a different saw!

    • @Anikasdiylife
      @Anikasdiylife 6 часов назад

      You are so used to seeing sped up videos😂 Also, this tells me you have never used a miter saw. Clamp what down? You literally don’t know what you are talking about 🤣🤣🤣

      @@Anikasdiylife I own several saws and several different types of saws and you can see my wood projects at various fun land parks scattered about the USA. There are different types of saws for different jobs and utilizing a big saw for a small job like you did in the video is #1 ANTI-safe method people utilize. The fact that you don't understand what "clamp it down" means is actually concerning since you're the one who posted a safety video in the first place. There are things in the work force that require a certain vicinity to be safe to operate and are singarly operated, these large table saws are no different. This means that there are some tasks only one Individual in the vicinity can do and others need not be hovering because the tool or task requires that vicinity of space to operate safely.

    • @Anikasdiylife
      @Anikasdiylife 5 часов назад

      Once again please explain what you are telling me to clamp down.

    • @soultrex9722
      @soultrex9722 5 часов назад

      @@Anikasdiylife For projects that utilize the big saw like that, you can secure the main wood with a clamp or vice and then make your cuts. Wood only flies like that when the saw is too big for the project. Personally, I would have used a different saw for the little 2×2×4 you cut, like a table saw or even a hacksaw

    • @soultrex9722
      @soultrex9722 5 часов назад

      @@Anikasdiylife The process is not time effective with the utilization of this saw on that small of a piece of wood. You can minimize projectiles by simply using a different saw or securing both ends of the wood. Because your method is utilizing too powerful saw for too small of wood, you're taking extra steps and sacrificing time to "invent" a "safer" way to do something already ridiculously dangerous in the first place.

    • @soultrex9722
      @soultrex9722 7 часов назад

      It's also dangerous to use big tools for little jobs. This saw is meant for that big 2×4×8, not that tiny yard stick she cuts! Using a saw that's way too big or even the wrong type of saw is also dangerous for a safety video.

    I tried a solar heater. The water coming out of the hose is warmer then the water in the pool, but it only raised the pool water tempurature a 1-2 degrees. The solar heater works best when it is a very sunny day, which is also when you least need to raise the pool water tempurature. The heater also takes up space in your yard. A lot of work and money with very little benefit.

    Not hard to heat water in a hose exposed to the sun but unless you can make a difference in the overall water temperature it's not a big deal. You need to measure the water temperature on the far end of the pool and see how much hotter it gets along with the time it takes to get there. If you can raise the water temperature that be great but in my opinion unless you have a solar pool cover to retain the heat it may a tough go. I don't care what grounding your pool has I never let anyone in a pool with any pump in the water. There are much better designs on DIY solar heater on the internet.

    better to use a stud finer unless u want many hole in the wall what i thinking of doing is getting a light weight wood that is 1 inch thick and then use a rood that is 11 1/2 long and just thick enough to hold the weight which is the internet equipment probably not that heavy I'm thinking maybe I can use a bolt that fits flat on a piece of metal and then that would just mount to the wall and then the bolt would hold the 3 feet shelf in place don't know if that'll work but I could give it a try i think i just need to make sure the shelf is very light weight wood and counter sink the mettle plate in the wood like door locks and hinges and hoping the plate are not so heavy as well

  • @joeselzer850
    @joeselzer850 15 дней назад

    i need to build one that is thin not thick i need it to be 1 inch thick or less is better about 12 width and 3 feet long with a wall in the front of it the reason is I want to hide our internet equipment right now our internet equipment is on top of our stereo which is a German stereo that looks like a beautiful piece of furniture we don't want it on top because it makes it look ugly so what I want to do is build a thin floating shelf with a 1-in wall and 12 foot tall in front and then I will hang some decorative plates about three of them that are 8x8 if I'm able to still purchase them unless it become out of stock thy might be used plates and I want to put it in front so that way it looks decorative and doesn't look ugly you'll still be able to see the equipment from the side because of course I can't put the equipment inside a box because the equipment does need air to ventilate or they're going to overheat so it's just that when you look from the front you won't see the equipment it's only when you look from the side and then I'll think about what I can put on the side that allows air through but at the same time hide the equipment from the side
