How to Cover Plywood Edges - for Beginners!
Time. Your saw is not effective with time. Taking 2 minutes to cut one board down is beyond ridiculous. Clamp it down or use a different saw!
You are so used to seeing sped up videos😂 Also, this tells me you have never used a miter saw. Clamp what down? You literally don’t know what you are talking about 🤣🤣🤣
@@Anikasdiylife I own several saws and several different types of saws and you can see my wood projects at various fun land parks scattered about the USA. There are different types of saws for different jobs and utilizing a big saw for a small job like you did in the video is #1 ANTI-safe method people utilize. The fact that you don't understand what "clamp it down" means is actually concerning since you're the one who posted a safety video in the first place. There are things in the work force that require a certain vicinity to be safe to operate and are singarly operated, these large table saws are no different. This means that there are some tasks only one Individual in the vicinity can do and others need not be hovering because the tool or task requires that vicinity of space to operate safely.
Once again please explain what you are telling me to clamp down.
@@Anikasdiylife For projects that utilize the big saw like that, you can secure the main wood with a clamp or vice and then make your cuts. Wood only flies like that when the saw is too big for the project. Personally, I would have used a different saw for the little 2×2×4 you cut, like a table saw or even a hacksaw
@@Anikasdiylife The process is not time effective with the utilization of this saw on that small of a piece of wood. You can minimize projectiles by simply using a different saw or securing both ends of the wood. Because your method is utilizing too powerful saw for too small of wood, you're taking extra steps and sacrificing time to "invent" a "safer" way to do something already ridiculously dangerous in the first place.
But I like danger ;)
Good!! Then you know exactly what not to do. 😂
It's also dangerous to use big tools for little jobs. This saw is meant for that big 2×4×8, not that tiny yard stick she cuts! Using a saw that's way too big or even the wrong type of saw is also dangerous for a safety video.
All you guys are failures at your job and I'm sick of seeing you ask questions with nothing being done
I think you have the wrong number
Is that a water prof?
Yes it is!
Awesome 😊
VERY nice 👍
Glad you found it helpful
💯👌⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
❤️❤️❤️
🤔🫡🙏🙏🙏
You are awesome Anika! Everything was thoroughly explained in simple, easy to understand plain language with visual aids.
do you have a list of all the measuring tools you use and drill bit gadgets?
I WANT TO WORK WITH PALLETS WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND 😊
Very clear explanations.Thank you so much.
Hi @anika the 1x3 attachment for support was brilliant. great video. you ought to have more subscribers and views..
I must say that is great I was hesitant to try, however after watching this I’m very to give it a go - thank you
Is that 3/4" plywood? What material?
Probable all of them are fine, the most important to this (as was my experience) is to have a good drill with high speed, if not, you have to buy one. I got 3 drills, none of them was doing the job, so, ......
Just paused the video to say how great it is for me. Perfect explanation for a beginner like me. Thanks!
Excellent video - thank you
I had no idea! But the minute you explained & did the demonstration it totally made sense. 🎉
So sim😅ple Thank you
I tried a solar heater. The water coming out of the hose is warmer then the water in the pool, but it only raised the pool water tempurature a 1-2 degrees. The solar heater works best when it is a very sunny day, which is also when you least need to raise the pool water tempurature. The heater also takes up space in your yard. A lot of work and money with very little benefit.
Thank you for teaching me about the sander.
In fact, it's all about Anika and not about the miter box, I don't like videos like this... a bunch of unnecessary ramblings
😊😊😊😊😊😊
Nice Anika, your daughter is for sure very happy about the bed Nice work Anika Good Mother
Thank you very much for your video, very helpful! 🙂👍
A very nice video thanks I'm going after the 18-in nailer thanks for your help..
Love your channel!! Question??? What type of plywood you used for the large wall cabinet. I am looking to build an enclosure around my stackable washer and dryer. I went to homedepot and I didn't realize it was different types of plywood. Thanks in advance for your response
I don't know how to make a drawer at all.
ty
What a great communicator you are!! Congratulations! And the design is simple and functional
Do you think it's a good idea to make them and sell them as an e-commerce project ?
Not hard to heat water in a hose exposed to the sun but unless you can make a difference in the overall water temperature it's not a big deal. You need to measure the water temperature on the far end of the pool and see how much hotter it gets along with the time it takes to get there. If you can raise the water temperature that be great but in my opinion unless you have a solar pool cover to retain the heat it may a tough go. I don't care what grounding your pool has I never let anyone in a pool with any pump in the water. There are much better designs on DIY solar heater on the internet.
better to use a stud finer unless u want many hole in the wall what i thinking of doing is getting a light weight wood that is 1 inch thick and then use a rood that is 11 1/2 long and just thick enough to hold the weight which is the internet equipment probably not that heavy I'm thinking maybe I can use a bolt that fits flat on a piece of metal and then that would just mount to the wall and then the bolt would hold the 3 feet shelf in place don't know if that'll work but I could give it a try i think i just need to make sure the shelf is very light weight wood and counter sink the mettle plate in the wood like door locks and hinges and hoping the plate are not so heavy as well
i need to build one that is thin not thick i need it to be 1 inch thick or less is better about 12 width and 3 feet long with a wall in the front of it the reason is I want to hide our internet equipment right now our internet equipment is on top of our stereo which is a German stereo that looks like a beautiful piece of furniture we don't want it on top because it makes it look ugly so what I want to do is build a thin floating shelf with a 1-in wall and 12 foot tall in front and then I will hang some decorative plates about three of them that are 8x8 if I'm able to still purchase them unless it become out of stock thy might be used plates and I want to put it in front so that way it looks decorative and doesn't look ugly you'll still be able to see the equipment from the side because of course I can't put the equipment inside a box because the equipment does need air to ventilate or they're going to overheat so it's just that when you look from the front you won't see the equipment it's only when you look from the side and then I'll think about what I can put on the side that allows air through but at the same time hide the equipment from the side
Excellent presentation and production. Very professional looking.
You did a great enjoyable job of instructing. Very thorough. Thank you.
I got mine a week ago but still want to know more how to use it properly before using it for my project. Thank you for this
as a beginner, all I heard was , buy everything
excellent video.
Very nice. Exactly what we are looking to do!
Now I need to watch your cabinet makeover video to see what you did to get such a nice, smooth paint on that upper cab above the island. Also, seems it would have been better to wait on the flooring install until AFTER the countertops and cabs were done to avoid damage to the new floor.
It looks so pretty, especially the stairs. This video makes me feel like my family and I can do this!! 🥰
That was so useful! Thank you so much 💛
The first technique is what I needed. So simple. I will probably use it. Thanks for the video
Found you on Pinterest and read through an entire article on screws. It was riveting. Haha. I mean it seriously. Thanks for being so detailed. I love it
Not that humorous, really, if ya think about it, but nice try
Ok but what do you when the wood purchased is not straight. This makes it very intimidating to me and you have no jointer or planer? Also, what type of lumber did you purchase and how did you check to determine if it’s straight enough to work with?
Loved your work and positive vibes ❤
Thankyou for such a an awesome, in-depth and detailed vid on this, very helpful! 😁
Long sleeves are dangerous
Anika I just got my first DeWalt single bevel miter saw, watching your video gave me the courage to use it,thanks and I love you.
